Course Description:
Students learn how to successfully migrate from AutoCAD, a 2D CAD drawing-based solution, to Revit Architecture 2009, a 3D building information modeling solution. Students learn how to retain previous investments in 2D content.
This Revit Architecture training course teaches students how to work seamlessly with AutoCAD DWG™ files, including how to migrate site plans and details and make those files smarter within their Revit Architecture 2009 projects. Students also learn techniques for
collaborating in a multiplatform environment.
This courseware offers both imperial and metric hands-on exercises representing real-world design scenarios.

The primary objective of this Revit Architecture training course is to teach students how to complete the move from 2D design to 3D modeling by leveraging existing 2D content in Revit Architecture 2009 projects and working seamlessly with AutoCAD drawing files.

• Architectural design, drafting, or engineering principles.
• Microsoft® Windows® XP or Microsoft® Windows® 2000.
